Bonded leather is made by combining leather scraps and fabric with polyurethane and other bonding agents. Alternatively, top-grain leather is pure leather from the top layer of an animals hide. Top-grain leather is reserved for high-end furniture and is not often seen anymore in everyday furniture. So how is LeatherSoft unique? As mentioned, bonded leather is made and manufactured. This means that each factory has a different recipe, and therefore quality can different significantly from one bonded leather to the next.
